Arizona-bred, Omaha-based Digital Leather mastermind Shawn Foree recently released Warm Brother via Fat Possum (Remember that traveling gloryhole?). You won’t find this Bowie-esque cover of MGMT’s “Time To Pretend” anywhere near the new record. The song, which he recorded with Jay Reatard’s ex-bandmates, debuted in this week’s ‘Gum Drop. We asked Foree a couple of questions about the take: Find out his reasoning while you take a close listen.
